Transgender Athletes: A Comprehensive Study - Part V
The Future of the Nation’s Children and Youth
This brings up an interesting perspective about the future of our children and youth in sports! Famous and highly respected Nelson Mandela once stated:
… Our children are our greatest treasure. They are our future. Those who abuse them tear at the fabric of our society and weaken our nation (November 22, 1997)…
… The true character of society is revealed in how it treats its children (September 27, 1997). Each of us, as citizens, has a role to play in creating a better world for our children (May 9, 2002). Our children are our future, and one of our basic responsibilities is to care doe them in the best and most compassionate manner possible (November 7, 2003)…
… One of the ways we can build a better future for our children is by empowering them by allowing them to speak up for themselves. Of course, we as adults must guide them and take the ultimate responsibility, but that is quite different from patronizing them. Children's rights must, importantly, include the right to be themselves and talk for themselves (November 2003)…
What does our culture offer children, boys and girls, young females and young males? Our cultural values are destroyed, creating confusion in their mind about “who they are and who they are or to become”, defined by a radical Elite whose main purpose are power and control. Anxiety, stress, suicide attempts and actual suicides have increased among the youth since the Covid-10 pandemic. What is the future of sports and participation perpetrated by ‘clouded ideas’ of Who is Who, or What is What or Who are You? And Who am I?
Militant transgender advocates are imposing their agenda uncompromisingly on schoolchildren, which is fine with President Joe Biden. His administration announced that it will enhance the legal entitlements of transgender public school students with new guarantees regarding access to bathrooms, locker rooms and sports competitions (April 2023). These issues grab the headlines, but they’re less harmful to most students than the damage being done by the distortion of the school curriculum.
From the youngest age, students are being brainwashed with gender ideology.
Children as young as 5 are encouraged to disregard their anatomy and choose their gender based on “their feelings.” A California mother was enraged at the Spreckels Union School District board for allowing teachers to coach her 12-year-old daughter on becoming a boy, choosing a boy’s name and hiding the plan from the family.
A book school libraries offer for kids ages 4 to 8 reads, “This is Ruthie. She is a transgender girl. That means when she was born, everyone thought she was a boy. Until she grew a little older – old enough to tell everyone that she’s actually a girl.”
Gender dysphoria – a rare medical condition that makes people feel mismatched with their sexual anatomy – adults, according to the UCLA School of Law’s Williams Institute. Anyone afflicted should be treated with kindness and offered medical help. It first appears in childhood, but with so few children affected, the curriculum should not be distorted for everyone. Elementary-school teachers are putting words on the blackboard like “nonbinary” and “transgender” even before kids have learned multiplication. If students are to be educated rather than indoctrinated, parents need to stand up to the transgender militants, but not too many have the nerve.
Reflecting on my German high school education about the danger of Nazi propaganda and indoctrination of children and youth (Hitler Youth and BDM Mädchen = Bund der Deutschen Mädchen [Union or Association of German Girls], the attempt to destroy a nation’s social values is evident. The Woke culture likes to ‘throw around the term ‘Nazi and Fascists’ but seem to ignore that these terms fit their own narrative about control and power.
A mother in Colorado is taking action after she discovered that her daughter’s after-school “art club” was actually aimed at sexualizing children. Mom Erin Lee said her sixth-grade daughter was exposed to an avalanche of radical LGBT material in the club, and she is now suing Wellington Middle School and Poudre School District in Fort Collins, Colorado, Fox News reported. Lee said the group was sold to parents as an “art club,” but her daughter quickly realized the truth. The presenter told kids they are transgender if they feel uncomfortable with their bodies and said they can call themselves “queer” if they are “figuring out [their] sexuality.” The presenter also discussed puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones. “She talked to them about polyamory,” Lee continued. “She told them that these new labels they had just adopted made them more likely to commit suicide and talked extensively about suicide,” Lee said this stealth instruction in the LGBT agenda went on for nearly a year without parents knowing.

How far is society going to spiral downward? The Radical Left is obsessed with wokeness and gender ideology. They want to divide the nation based on race, gender, and political views. Instead of providing an outstanding education for our children and youth of the future, Elites are more concerned about “Who can go into which bathroom; Who can participate in Women’s Sports, labelling everything as phobic and racist; and now “choosing to ignore or disrespect someone’s pronouns is not only an act of oppression but can also be considered an act of violence." According to the still acceptable “definition of crime”, according to academia: “the demonstration of hostility and anger to harm or injure others or someone's property via physical force.” We have created one of the safest societies in history, but it is also filled with the weakest people in history.”
Post Script
Most people don't care how anyone else identifies. If you're trans, most people want you to live your life however you see fit, just as long as it doesn't hurt them.
But that's the crux of the situation. If a biological woman invests a lot of time preparing for a competition, and then the playing field becomes significantly un-levelled, it does hurt her. It hurts her chances of getting a scholarship, earning a title she worked for, turning pro, making it to the Olympics, winning a cash prize, setting a prestigious record, or in certain cases, it may irreparably damage her body, depending on the sport.
If people born male and who've spent their formative teen years as male with no intervention is allowed to compete against women, it'll ultimately be a no-win situation for biological female athletes. For example, a 51-year-old 6'8" man wanted to identify as a women's college basketball athlete, he'd be able to join their team and help these young ladies clobber their competitors. Absurd, right? You probably think it'd never get to that point. But it did. That's exactly what happened at San Joaquin Delta College in Northern California. The slope has slipped. Maybe some sadists enjoyed watching the trans-MMA fighter knock out a woman, but it didn't sit well with many people. In such individual sports, where women could be seriously hurt, the judges might as well preemptively hand the first-place prize to the trans athlete and then have the biological women battle it out to see who comes in second. Trans women competing against biological women poses a problem. And the implications of it are huge. If more and more adult male athletes transition into females, there won't be any reason for young ladies to practice or even dream about their future in sports anymore.
*Note: Since this article was originally published, two studies – one from the Journal of Medical Ethics and one from the Karolinska Institute in Sweden found that biological men who transition to women retain athletic advantages even after a year of testosterone suppression.
The Poll
Americans are widely opposed to allowing transgender female athletes to compete on women's and girls' sports teams, and, according to a new NPR/Ipsos poll, are deeply split along partisan lines on questions of transgender rights.
The NPR/Ipsos poll shows that nearly two-thirds of Americans (63%) oppose allowing transgender women and girls to compete on teams that align with their gender identity, while 24% overall support that.
Among Democrats, opinion is fairly split: a plurality, 46%, support trans female athletes' right to compete on women's and girl's sports teams, while 41% oppose it.
Independent voters oppose trans female athletes right to compete by 3:1 (21% support; 63% oppose).
Among Republicans, support plummets to just 4%, while 88% oppose.
The question is … will children and youth continue to participate in sports, and what happens when transgender women continue to rob women of achieving and reaching their full potential under these circumstances.
I received a 14-year elementary (5 years) and Prep High School education (9 years). “Humanistisches Gymnasium” – School for Humanities. The Geeks called their schools ‘gymnasia’ because academic instructions and body training (mind & body) were taught together. I had classical Latin, classical Greek, English or French (choice), German, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Geography, History {German and World), Philosophy, Music, Art, Physical Education and Sports … ‘True Education… Education (Latin ‘e-ducere’ = leading from within to outward) – Not Indoctrination!
I played the Cello, sang in the School choir, played in the school’s ensemble and sang at public concerts (classical works). I read books of all kinds in several languages, listen to classical music, Beethoven, Bach, Mozart, Händel, Vivaldi, etc. and love ballet. I would not trade it for a million … “because they can take everything from you but never your education or your mind” (unless it is a totalitarian system, which we might be approaching).
I supposed the Woke Culture, and Radical Leftists would call my education experience ‘racist’ or phobic (afterall all, philosophers, artists, and composers were “White?” “Supremacists?”) as they now label mathematics, music, etc as ‘Racist’ … their favourite “buzzword” of 2023!
Ancient civilizations are proof that a country, a nation, or a culture that loses its values, disrespects its laws, and tumbles into moral decay and lawlessness eventually destroys itself from the inside!

COACH MONIKA – A REAL WOMAN CELEBRATES HERSELF
Monika E. Schloder, Ph.D., has an extensive multi-sport and sports education background from Germany and trained athletes from the Beginner to National, Elite and Olympic levels in athletics, artistic gymnastics, swimming, rhythmic sportive, and modern pentathlon.
She previously taught and served as the Varsity Coach for Artistic Gymnastics and Athletics at Arizona State University (ASU), Tempe, Arizona, and was recruited to the University of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, as the Varsity Coach for Women’s Artistic Gymnastics and Varsity Assistant Coach in Swimming.
She taught academic courses in sports philosophy, sociology, International perspectives of sport, Introduction to Biomechanics, Teacher Preparation for Secondary Schools, and Coaching Sciences. She trained as a Canadian National and Provincial (Alberta) Course Conductor and Learning Facilitator from 1976-2015 and as NCCP Coach Developer until 20022, as these titles were changed throughout the years by the Canadian National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP). She received the 2021 Canadian NCCP Community Coach Developer Award for her work in coach education.
She developed coaches through courses, seminars, workshops, clinics, training camps, and coach education programs worldwide in Finland, Sweden, Germany, Istanbul, Peru, USA and Canada, having trained 28,000 coaches throughout the years to date. She was selected to serve as Germany's first female Olympic Attaché at the 1988 Winter Olympics.
She is a sought-after Speaker at International Congresses and Symposiums, the Canadian National Summit for Physical Literacy (Gatineau, Quebec), and the Pan-American Congress for Physical Education. She was a favourite Presenter at the Annual ASCA World Clinic in Swimming. She is an author and producer of numerous books and training DVDs and is the feature writer for the Website www.coachingbest.com
She considers her biggest accomplishment not her personal success as an athlete but receiving the prestigious Canadian 3M Teaching Fellowship Award for Outstanding Teaching at Canadian Universities, the 20-year 3M Anniversary Honor ‘Toute la difference’ (Making a Difference), and numerous Annual Teaching Excellence Awards at the University of Calgary. She is the recipient of 14 International Awards for her work in Coach Education and Coach development.
However, her biggest and most personally rewarding success is developing the Minority Coach Leadership Program under the auspices of the Los Angeles-based former Amateur Athletic Foundation (AAF), Legacy of the 1984 Olympic Games, re-named as 1984 LA Foundation. The former was directed by Ms. Anita DeFrantz, American Olympic rower and bronze medal winner, US International Olympic Committee (IOC) member, and Vice President of the International Rowing Federation.
Under her leadership, Coach Schloder was appointed Master Coach in Residence and funded to create the Coaching program for Inner City Minorities. She wrote the Coaching Manuals for Swimming and Soccer and co-authored the AAF “Coaching Athletes: A Foundation for Success.”
She graduated 217 former gang leaders (male and female) from Inner City Los Angeles, who are now actively coaching swimming and soccer in the LA communities, creating the AAF Summer Swim League, comprised of over 4000 Minority Inner City children. AAF soccer-trained coaches were prepared for the USA-D Soccer licence to coach Inner City athletes in that sport.
She fosters the Belief:
…Two roads diverged in a wood, and I took the one less travelled by, which has made all the difference (Robert Frost)…
…A hundred years from now, it will not matter what my bank account was, the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove, but the world may be different because I was important in the life of a child (Anonymous)…
…Athletes use their experience to cause social change through education and positive action in their community – not through protests in sports (Schloder, 2021)…
Conclusion
Over the past, several Newsletters addressed the issue of males entering as transgender athletes into women's individual and team sports. I provided extensively the biological and physiological differences between males and females, which makes the occurrence absolutely unfair and destructive to women's sports. Males who have not been successful in their ranks suddenly decide to 'feel like women' and consider themselves entitled to enter women's sports? Supported by the Woke culture and the rising gender ideology nonsense, these men see nothing wrong with their perceptions, feelings and subsequent actions because Woke society permits it to happen with formal blessing.
There are more transgender women than men, according to a study of U.S. adults. The estimated proportion of transgender people in the U.S., is found to be at about 1.4 million transgender adults. Of these, 1.2 million are transgender women, and 200,000 are transgender men. There are an estimated 50 to 100 transgender women competing in women's sports teams in the U.S. Joanna Harper, researcher at Britain's Loughborough University, estimated that about 50 of the roughly 200,000 athletes competing in women's sports at the collegiate level in the U.S. are transgender. However, privacy laws make it tough to identify the exact number, estimated at 100.
The debate continues about whether trans athletes should be part of elite female competition. Male and female divisions were created for a reason because males demonstrate more athletic dominance. Without the sex division, females would have little chance of winning because males are faster, stronger, and have greater endurance capacity. Male physiology underpins their better athletic performance including increased muscle mass and strength, stronger bones, different skeletal structures, better adapted cardiorespiratory systems, and early developmental effects on brain networks that causes males to be inherently more competitive and aggressive. Testosterone secreted before birth, postnatally, and after puberty is the major factor that drives these physiological sex differences, and as adults, and testosterone levels are ten to fifteen times higher in males than females.
The non-overlapping ranges of testosterone between the sexes has led sports regulators, such as the International Olympic Committee, to use 10 nmol/L testosterone as a sole physiological parameter to divide the male and female sporting divisions. Using testosterone levels as a basis for separating female and male elite athletes is arguably flawed. Male physiology cannot be reformatted by estrogen therapy in transwoman athletes because testosterone has driven permanent effects through early life exposure. Descriptive critical reviews discuss the inherent male physiological advantages that lead to superior athletic performance and then addresses how estrogen therapy fails to create a female-like physiology in the male. Ultimately, the former male physiology of transwoman athletes provides them with a physiological advantage over the cis-female athlete.
Vanderbilt University, Tennessee, doctors argue that transgender women should be allowed to compete in female sports because it boosts 'their mental health and self-esteem.' What about the women affected by this? We have Lisa Thomas a transgender male and 30+ female swimmers on a team whose self-esteem and mental well being does not matter nor their safety as a male prances with the male anatomy in their lockerroom?
Twenty-three transwomen have won national or international competitions or championships. Most Americans oppose trans athletes in sports. Nearly 70% of U.S. adults say transgender athletes should be allowed to compete only on sports teams that correspond with the sexes they were assigned at birth, the Gallup poll found.
Sports have been a major part of human culture throughout history. Few areas of culture have the power to influence people as strongly as sports. Fans tend to live vicariously through their chosen elite athletes, men and women, who are often considered role models for society. Amateur athletes and young emerging hopefuls are encouraged to strive to reach the highest levels within their chosen sport.
Therefore, any controversy surrounding a result can lead to strong debate, especially if there is a perception that fairness has been jeopardized because the concept of fairplay is the justification for dividing most sports into male and female categories. Without such segregation, females would have little chance of winning. World records show that males consistently perform better in sports and the recent Olympic gold, silver, and bronze medal results show that females would not have medaled in an open competition for a wide variety of sports. Despite the recognition of the male dominance of athletic performance, the male and female divisions are becoming blurred as transgender women athletes enter the female division. The inclusion of such transgender women athletes has raised concerns about the fairness of the female division for biological female athletes (ciswomen, where gender identity aligns with their biological sex).
So, what drives this insane agenda? But more and more transgender will enter women’s sport because it is ultimately about money to be made in tennis, golf, athletics, the professional circuit in swimming, and in the Olympics with future endorsements, be it Budweiser beer, Nike, Tampax, Cosmetics, Cracker barrel, etc. Women fought very intensely for their Rights in 1972, Title IX. This legislation is now destroyed by a gender possessed ideology to make sure that less than 7% of society “feel better about themselves!” We are looking at a culture who has become misogynous… displaying a dislike of, contempt for, or ingrained prejudice against women! We are almost back in the Middle Ages where women were persecuted for witchcraft in their profession as mid-wives while males treated women as property, who were married off to the next wealthy man, beaten and tortured. In modern times, the nation of Iran keeps persecuting women who fail to wear the hijab. They get persecuted and jailed by men, who made rules about their clothing. America, on the other hand, is trying to destroy women’s sports, which in my opinion, reflects a totalitarian regime and the desperation by the Elite to control women.
